Oh, I have a question myself...  Any penalty for using Squawks?  I broke down and used in a few levels where I just could not find the puzzle pieces on my own.

Btw, did you get gold medals or shiny gold medals? If not the latter, you would have to give the time trials another go anyway, if you really wanted a perfect file.

What? - - Doesn't it go: bronze, silver, gold? Where you'd get gold if you beat the least/smallest time listed?

I mean some of the levels I'm totally sure that there is NOW WAY to get a significantly less time (like less by three or more seconds) - - - I've only just beaten world one's boss though

Shiny gold medals have a sparkle in the top right and bottom left, so they are quite easy to distinguish from regular gold medals in the stats screen.

Do they count towards you percentage? I don't think I'm gonna bother with the shinies unless there's no way to fully beat the game without them (like 200% / or whatever the max is)

I know that 100% is for normal mode and the other 100% is for mirror mode, but do mirror mode time trials affect your percentage? I really don't want to do TTs in MM

No, they don't count towards your percentage. There's also no mirror mode time trial.

omg you made my day, Rol :D - - - - - It would've been too frustrating to try to complete the game that way

But I'm tired out from playing DKCR now, I'm gonna relax with some Kirby :) - - - god I love my time off from Uni :D
