One the main community managers for MLB 11 was at the ‘It Won’t Stay In Vegas’ party demoing a homerun derby mode in MLB 11 specifically with the PlayStation Move. If you’ve played Wii Sports Baseball then the feeling of holding the bat using the camera and Move accelerometers should feel similar, but putting the bat on the ball is a bit more intuitive. As far as calibration goes, you’re required to hold the Move up to your chest before you bat which only takes 2-3 seconds out of your precious time. I came back multiple times just because it was so neat using the Move, but ended up getting only 4 homeruns which I think let me know that this didn’t automate the game on “easy mode” like Wii Sports baseball. Everything the Move did was tracked 1:1 and I didn’t have to have the best swing or stance. You only had to stand in the general batter’s box area where you calibrated the Move before. I hit every pitch as long as I swung through the ball, at the ball, and correctly on time with the ball as it should be.
Looks like March is going to be a pretty good month for those of you who enjoy playing baseball-related video games. Not only have fans got the arrival of the MLB 2K11 game to look forward to, but it appears that MLB 11: The Show will be released the same month.

Personally I would have liked a more realistic approach that would have been obviously much more difficult but I guess that would hurt it's chances at selling.
Maybe it will have something in the settings.
Still a MUST BUY for me.
