Okay seriously Spider-Man 3 wasn't as bad as most of you make it sound.

I personally thought it was amazing but even when I put my objective face on, I can't say it's a bad movie.

It wasn't as awesome as the two first entries but it was still good.

I think the problem with the first 3 Spidey movies is that Raimi took a lot of liberties with the characters and source material. I HATED the fact that Spider-Man didn't use webshooters in the movies because it made Peter Parker seem insignificant. There are two sides to the character and taking away from Peter's genius annoyed me. I think a slightly darker rendition that follows the comics more closely is good thing. If they do it right despite all the criticism I believe people will be genuinely pleased that they decided to reboot the franchise. I think the James Bond transition from Brosnan to Craig is a good example of how a well executed reboot can trump any brevity between two films.

Oh but I'm sure they're going to do it just right with this reboot but you know I think there was so much more to tell in Raimi's world.

We got another pic from the Spidey reboot. The photo's quality may not be great but we can see that Spidey's costume is still sporting a brighter red and blue than the first pic showed. Too bad we can't see the mask in detail though. :(
