It was hyperbole. There's not 7-11's in the Youngstown- Kent area, where I am.

That must be it

Its actually a funny story, when I was 12 or 13 I was visiting cousins in Maryland and they decided to go to a 7-11, and their minds were completely blown that I had never seen one before.
