Tales games thats all good..but where the hell is Point Blank??? Wii's been out for so long and no PB game?? PS1 had 3 and you had to buy a gun. Hell if you dont care about Ninty then at least put that thing on PS3 with Move support. And no more guest stars in SC unless they dont suck and for the love of God stop trying to make a beat em up Tekken, you suck at it Namco!

On topic, while I'd like to see Scamco go for broke and bring over stuff like Graces, Hearts, Vesperia PS3, Phantasia NDX, etc, at this point I think the best course for them would probably be to just "start fresh" and go with Abyss 3DS and Xillia.  A 360 version of Xillia would probably make sense for the west too, Namco's Tales platform strategy is truly baffling, damaing and schizophrenic.

Listen? Sure.

Act? LOL.

Community Managers/outreach folks can be notorious for not only having little real influence (Major Nelson being a significant exception), but being rather outside the loop on things, though mostly i'm just projecting ol' Sven from Capcom (who often flatly contradicted statements out of Capcom themselves), so i wouldn't put much stock in this at all

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

@jarrod ive heard about that stupid DS game, I heard it sucked. Which is even more baffling, wouldnt it have been easier just to make a PB for Wii??? I mean, all they had to do was port the originals, the Wiimote is there already it would have cost little to nothing. It could have been as big as Carnival games. except they put it on a damn portable thats less pratical, I dont get it.

lol, I have no clue.  Point Blank Wii would've been dead simple and likely easy cash for Namco. I guess it'd also have been a tacit admission that the Guncon3 was a massive failure, and for whatever reason Namco seemed to not want to do that.... even though they basically gave up on the GC3 anyway. :/

Hell, they could've ported Time Crisis 4 to Wii even, the game honestly looks worse than HotD Overkill, Dead Space Extraction or the RE Chronicles games.  There really was no good reason for it to be on PS3 in the first place, much less PS3 exclusive.

There was no games for Guncon3 and no one is buying a peripherial for that much with nothing to show for it. In defense of Time Crisis the game was an acrade port, so it would look worse than games made for the ground up on Wii. but it might as well have been on Wii also. But TC has always been on PS systems.

I will admit to still being pessimistic towards this, it is proably just another way of Namco trolling it's fans by making us get off their FB page and tweet Rich just for them not to localise. I however hope I am wrong and will be playing Vesperia Graces F and Xillia in neglish next year.

Hasn't Namco collected enough listening material already?

I have faith that upcoming PS3 Tales will be localised at least. because the console market in Japan is comparativelty week compared to the handheld market as is the console martket in Japan compared to the overseas market. and that game is a PS3 exclusive, so imo it seems that they're going to test the waters with this one and localise because the PS3 JRPG market is bigger internationally and the PS3 console is way more popular abroad than in Japan.

not to mention many JRPGs have come to Europe and America this gen, some have been met with relatively good success, eg Valkyria Chronicles. so i think they're gonna test the waters with this one.

i dont know how much i trust this company however it seems these guys are like Activision with DLC.

Oh and if these guys are doubtful about the sales vs cost of localising Tales, then i think we should suggest the they let Sony or some other publisher publish the title in the west, if its a success then Namco should publish the next one. but i doubt they would listen to a suggestion like that.
