why so many county Kinect Sports>Kinect Sensor?

It climbed 5 spots on the Wii chart, placing itself right beneath GoldenEye 007. If it has good legs it might enter the All Format chart again when games with lesser legs start to drop out.

With 55% drop it sold between 25-30k this week. So till now 760-765k in UK.

That's a very strong Wii performance post-Christmas in the UK. Seeing Wii Fit Plus at #2 is impressive. The Donkey Kong situation is weird - hard tell if it's a reaction to stores ramping up the price or stock issues, or both. It definitely seems to be only the UK market.

Will be interesting to see where these Kinect games settle now that the Christmas hype begins to fade.

"With nearly 750 million euros * CA in 2010 and a growth of 21% * compared to 2009, the PS3 has confirmed its position as a platform leader in France in 2010.

French consumers have bought PS3 * 822 0000, or 50% more than Xbox 360 in 2010.

Software on the market, 8 million * PS3 games were sold in France in 2010 to 418 million € * CA * 40% more than in 2009, making the PS3 the platform of choice for French .

With over 300,000 * copies sold on the market hexagonal PlayStation Move says its success on its competitor.

"The PS3 is the platform that makes the biggest overall turnover and the highest growth rate across all platforms, including handhelds. It confirms its absolute leadership in the French market and more specifically on the console market in high-definition vis-à-vis the X Box 360. We will exceed the 3 million PS3 in France by the end of the fiscal year or the end of March 2011 and can already announce that the PS3 is and will remain leader in 2011, "said Georges Fornay, CEO SCE France and Senior Vice President of SCE Europe.

Wth still no DK supply in england?

So for France we now have a pretty good idea of the market :

LTD :

DS : 10 M

Wii : 5 M

Ps3 : Around 2.85 M

360 : 2.2 M

For 2010 :

Move and kinect : 300 k

PS3 : 822.000

360 : 550.000

Software : 418 Millions euros ( 40%)

Software figure is just for PS3.

Lol , i love how sony doesn't mention ps3' current userbase, just what the userbase will be....after 3 months !!! (end of March). Also it's great that kinect has already a much bigger userbase in one of sony's strongest markets compared to move (since 300k move wands sold = userbaser lower than 300k) in like half the time (2 months vs. 4 months).

Anyway the difference between the 360 and the ps3 in France doesn't seem that great to me (2.2 million 360s sold) and France is the second biggest european market and one of the markets that are supposed to give the ps3 an edge in Europe (along with Spain, Germany and Italy) against xbox360 U.K domination.
