I agree with his sentiments about FF10-13. Maybe it would be better for a Final Fantasy game to fail. Perhaps that would stop S-E trying to globalise the franchise according to how they see the world i.e some guy looking on wikipedia about what western gamers like, and instead keep the "J" in Jrpg.

Rob-Ot dosent want Versus to fail, and i think theres a chance it could be more successful than FF13, if its an excellent game like we thought FF13 was meant to be.

IF it does go multiplat. I will LOVE the amount of meltdowns/intense crowfeeding/taunting that will occur. It will be hillarious, even though I am almost certain I won't get the game, it will still be amusing, but as many had pointed out there is a little chance of that happening, but if it did.. oh the days..

I think a lot of us have a good feeling it going multiplat man. SE current forecast about their lower than expected profits suggest a multiplatform release is immeninent based on the sales success of the 360 version of FF13. they've even pushed Deus Ex (reboot) into the next finiancial year because they need a big title to succeed next financial year.

however the fact that Deus Ex is being pushed into the next finanical year suggests they might not have any other big titles coming next year (for the west anyway), which might suggest Versus isnt coming until at least March 2012, probabily been delayed so they can work on the port! imho a multiplatform release is on the cards.

Yeah I gathered, 360 had gotten reputable sales considering that the launch in Japan was delayed by a full year, without Japan the difference in sales is in a region of ~800k. I think it's too big a port to ignore completely, despite the promises.

I think Versus XIII is going multiplatform. It's hard to ignore a console with a 50 Million userbase.

Anyway, who cares if it also hits the 360. As long as the game is good and sells well, so Square can keep making more games.

Sony could also deal a 6-9 months worldwide timed exclusive on PS3

A shitty franchise which is the reason your most hyped game is even going to exists ^^ FF is not shitty. Its far from selling badly. And anyone who cant appreciated the things the final fantasy does well cant call themselves a jrpg fan ^^
