Screw the fanboys, screw the PS3s 'power' neither are really that important anyway.

If you make a game that harnesses a consoles sole power, it can make a game a grander experience. The 360 needs a game that does this. The PS3 is already showing people what can be done with GOW 3, UC3, Infamous 2 and new team ICO project. The reason for this logic is to see what they can pull off the hardwares capabilities for a grand single player experience. Look at the grand difference in old Playstation games like Twisted Metal which get to make their first appearance on the PS3 again? This is going to be the biggest and most expansive Twisted Metal ever (Have you seen the videos?). I want to actually say that since this game is an action adventure title that it should at least do the same if only on promise alone. If someone makes an impressive and exclusive 360 IP that harnesses its power (whenever that happenns) then let it be done. That would make the 360 even more appealing to me. Versus will sell extremely well on the PS3 alone. If they market it properly it will sell.

You're getting confused here, its understandable with all those silly people talking about the powah of teh Pee Ess Free. The developers have repeated time and again, time and again, got angry, stopped repeating that the consoles have effectively the same level of performance. Even if the weaknesses and strengths don't quite match you're coming up with 90% which is pretty damn near identical for all intents and purposes and that final 10% represents the borderline programming tweaks which most don't want to deal with, even as exclusive developers.
So now what makes the difference?
Funding.
Talent.
Funding.
Yes I wrote funding twice because these days you have very expensive games. So why do PS3 exclusives look better?
Sony focuses on graphics, gameplay is defined in many cases by what can be achieved visually. Sony also has been aquiring developers with an eye to what they can achieve artistically and finally Sony funds the hell out of their games. This however has nothing to do with a game like FFXIII - V because if you read a little above you'll find out why. The main thing here is that Sony funds their artists to produce great art, art is what wows you whenever you play a game, the PS3 is only the means to convey that art to you and let you experience more of what the artists desired to create for your enjoyment.
Microsoft focuses on gameplay, graphics is defined more by what gameplay allows. They have an incentive to do this because they have a big money spinner in Xbox Live so they want you to keep playing your games online. They even want you to be able to bring your friend online on the same console. Thats not to say that Microsoft are totally gameplay whores whilst Sony are dirty graphics whore game makers. They just don't have the focus on that one aspect.
Its not a given that when both go for visuals that they cannot produce similar results -> Forza 3 vs GT5 look close enough that without an under the hood look at both games resource allocation and tradeoffs I wouldn't call one as being ahead of the other by any worthwhile margin.
