For me it was Heavy Rain. I have never been so much into a game in my almost 15 years of gaming. The story is just fantastic and the way you feel about the characters. Also how you feel after something happens to a character. Truly an amazing experience. Also how you can make different choices to affect the story is simply marvelous. Hopefully I get to play another game like this soon.

Did you play the Move edition?

I only played the demo in regular mode. I think the move controls add a different dimension that makes this game intense. I haven't finished the game... but so far it's amazing. As a single player game I haven't played much that competes.

Although other notable games that I did enjoy playing single player were Uncharted 2, Dead Space, Mass Effect and ME2.
