Yes, the Tea Party would really want to kill a pro-gun, anti-illegal immigration Blue Dog Democrat.

It's pretty sickening how so many people fly off all half-cocked in their desperation to make political hay out of such a horrible incident.

Consider this image below that the sarahpac website had up earlier this year.  She was opposed by the Palin camp in the last election period due to votes on the health care bill.  And note the cross-hairs used.  Factor in also people carrying guns to Obama speeches, and other extreme talk, with them angry about not being in power, and that is why the Tea Party is a top candidate.  Stuff like this below needs to stop.  You get an unhinged loon jumping on it, and blammo, you have more shootings.  And YES, that image was up on Palin's PAC website in 2010.

I wonder how Palin will react.....16 more to go?

The Tea Party is just a product of the lies and fear the republicans have been spreading for the last 2 years. The republicans killed that 9 year old girl.

Blaming the Republicans or Tea Party members for this shooting is kind of like blaming the Democrats for the Fort Hood shooting ...

Edit: nvm I should read posts before i comment

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

While there are indeed certain members of the right using alot of inappropriately loaded language, this does not seem to be a result of fox news and sarah palin. The guy is actually described as a left wing nut, who lists the communist manifesto as one of his favorite books. Really from a political standpoint, he seems all over the place. And from his ramblings it sounds like he took some philosophy 101 class, learned some basic syllogisms and thinks he's a misunderstood genius or something. Regardless, he doesn't appear to be some fox news watching, palin loving, gun toting yokel. He's just disturbed.

Because the shooter's political ideals have virtually nothing to do with the Republicans or the Tea party ... and if you can blame the shooting on these parties, you can blame any arbitrary shooting on the Democrats

Blaming this on Republicans is lazy, irresponsible, and sloppy.

And I absolutely detest the Republican Party right now.

Something has to be done about conservative terrorism in America.  First Muslims and now Republicans are joining the act.  Sadly, given both their lack of morals and low intelligence, I can't say that I am suprised.

Wow.

Just wow. You begin to point and blame people before knowing who the culprit was.

How was this guy a conservative? Please tell me that, because your post has to be one of the most ill-informed, ignorant pieces of garbage I've ever witnessed on VGC.

As for the OP, I am very sad to see anyone from leadership being shot. This wasn't the way to bring change. Such a senseless tragedy.

This is a surprise from Manus?

99% of the time, these people are just crazy people.  It's no big surprise or conspiracy...

but people like conspiracies so they always look to tie into groups or movements they don't like.

When pretty much all assassains are just crazy depressed people.
