Does he know you? I doubt it, And its not really opinion if hardy anyone he KNOWS that has any pc knowledge uses IE. so stop looking for something to get upset about.

I also use firefox for many years already. I only switched because I had an IE problem. First I switched to Opera, but then to Firefox and now I'm content. Maybe I'll give Chrome a try, too, because I hear only good things about it.

I use chrome BUT Firefox is better. Its just a fact.

Chrome looks more beautiful, it loads faster if you enable the pre-cache thingy but it also doesn't delete the cache memory on the go which can create some browsing problems.

I can't really use IE because I use linux, and when I did use IE it was the shittiest browser I had used. So many problems its not even funny. Opera to me is much better than IE, and is very very good, just not as good as Firefox or Chrome.

And I am totally not getting all the fear of google on this thread. Google, as I see is a very friendly corporation. At least to the consumers. Their service is fantastic.

I use all 3 dependin on what I'm doin, but Chrome does sucks balls tho Firefox used to be fast & good I dont know what they doin over there with it now, I'm on IE8 waitin on IE9 to come out of beta

Wow Chrome is skyrocketing!  And it deserves it too seeing as its the fastest most efficient browser out.
