I went into cmd and it analyzed my hard drive and my primary partition on my hard drive is showing as a RAW format!

I used to switch partitions when my OS did that... even if you re reinstal right after backing up your stuff to be on the initial partition.

External readers for Hard drives are also handy for broken comps.... that's how I recovered my laptop's data when it fried, you need to have a second comp available though.

Everything is back to normal now, I formatted and ran some repair tests on my hard drive and I was able to install Windows and put everything back. Thanks for the help guys.
