Forums - Gaming - We're seen countless Wiimote and Kinect hacks, where are the Move hacks?

topic.

The move data is encrypted so you can't get the data as easily as wii and kinect.

People are working on it, but its really slow progress.

sauce?

what the hell... you always say the most random shit.

If the move is anywhere near as hack-proof as the Ps3...

We're outta luck >.< Though I am curious to see what people would do with technology as "precise" as the Move. Wasn't there an article a few months ago about doctors saying that the technology is accurate enough for certain kinds of surgery or something?

EDIT: @Rockman, "sauce" means "source", as in, the source of information as to where you can validate that statement

I think we've pretty much seen the potential of the Move controls. I haven't seen any interesting hacks with the Wiimote recently.

The Kinect is new and finding ways to implement body tracking is more interesting.

kinect was open for mods by MS

SONY doesn't allow that type of stuff.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

kinect wasnt really open to mods, it just had an easy interface. they were pissed when they heard it was hacked, and then when they realized how great of a tool it is they started "supporting" it.

The move is encrypted, go check youtube. I dont really feel like checking sources again.

MS said they left it open on purpose. So not quite sure what your saying is right?

They left it open but didnt really publicize it.. they didnt give people the tools and say "here go hack"
