as most may know about David O. Russell and the Uncharted movie and how his comments with the times:
"While the video game centers on Nate Drake (a descendant of Sir Francis Drake) and his quest to find lost treasure on an island far from civilization, Russell plans on expanding the movie to include Drake's extended family -- and put them in fraught, globetrotting situations with some of the world's most influential people. 'This idea really turns me on that there's a family that's a force to be reckoned with in the world of international art and antiquities ... [a family] that deals with heads of state and heads of museums and metes out justice,' he said."
"We'll have the family dynamic, which we've done in a couple of movies now. ... And then you take that and put it on the bigger, more muscular stage of an international action picture, but also put all the character stuff in it. That's a really cool idea to me."
These comments caused uproar among Uncharted fans and many were soon quick to dismiss the movie and class it as an failure if it was green lighted.
Well it seems we had some Miscommunication and in an Interview with Justin Richmond, the game director of Uncharted 3, he told Joystick that its all wrong and that David called him telling him that its wrong.
What i believe he was trying to say is that he would take that concept and like he said later "And then you take that and put it on the bigger, more muscular stage of an international action picture, but also put all the character stuff in it" that So i think that he is going to take that concept and apply it as another underlining story to the existing story like maybe adding an connection to Nathan and Sully?, An Connection to the main villians?. I dont know but i can say that we will have to wait and see what happens now.
Also Justin Dismissed claims that Mark Walberg would be playing Nathan Drake
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
