Journey does look incredibly interesting in concept it will be interesting to see how it actually plays, but it's style may just be enough.

hmm my very scientific analysis has revealed that 66% (1% margin of error) of VGChartz users are most anticipating Journey out of all 2011 indie games.

How is journey an indie game. Doesn't indie mean made by independent developers, or am I wrong?

If it means downloadable game then it would have to be the Journey.

That game company is a weird case they aren't owned by SONY directly, but SONY did sign a deal with them for 3 PS3 games (flOw, Flower, Journey) and they do get their games published by SONY. So while they are not officially owned by SONY they are funded by SONY and their games are published for SONY so you could argue they are second party and hence not indie but I think I will allow it as they are a fringe case and it is possible that after Journey they may make games for other platforms.

then again maybe the people that say Journey should list a second game lol hell maybe everyone should, in which case my second most anticipated inde game is...

Xenonauts

Xenonauts is a turned based strategy game inspired by the X-com games, with a alternate history cold war setting. The object of the game is to repel an alien invasion by shooting down UFOs, fighting aliens on the ground, researching new technologies and finally (if it's anything like x-com) bringing the fight to the aliens and stopping the invasion once and for all.
