Say there's this girl, hot as can be, amazing body, unbelievably pretty with those dreammy eyes, a girl so perfect to your tastes you can barely believe your sight. Take the girl you most wanted in your life and imagine she's at most ok compared to this one. (oh, you can swap her with a guy if you want)

Pft, I'd do her. I'd do her and then go have a drink with my friends and brag about it. I'm a freaking drunk remember. Can't trust our kind. :P

I'm not sure why you assumed I meant that. I gave an example earlier of some people not going on a dance floor before having some alcohol in their bodies because they fear looking stupid. If they have drinks and someone says they looked rediculous, they can at least blame it on the alcohol or so it seems. That's what I find sad, for example.

But anyway, with your reply said, I'm not sure what's so fun about drinking... Is it the buzz? I personally hate that feeling but, each to their own, I suppose.

I'd walk away... Not because I can't stop drinking but he/she sounds like the biggest whore ever! Rubbing like that, shamelessly on someone he/she doesn't even know... He/She's probably full of cooties! Ewwww!

I feel sorry for you that you can't imagine that it tastes good!  Seriously.  There's nothing I enjoy more than a fine beer or wine brewed well.  If you don't get that, then...that's fine.  Live and let live I say.  Life is short.  Stop worrying about the things that make other people happy. 

You'll learn this some day. 

And to those who don't like alcohol, great.  Good for you.  I mean that.  Go ahead and be happy with who you are.  I don't think everyone should be the same, or understand why it is that I like a good beer.  I hope you can afford me the same courtesey.  i like beer.  I think a finely crafted beer is one of the greatest things on Earth.  If you don't like it, or don't care about it...great...I don't care.  Good for you.  We don't have to agree on it.  That's life.  If we can't move forward on a simple thing like that, then we're screwed.

Sorry, your reply came right after I talked about having fun drinking, so I nissinterpreted you.

Anyway, it's not just the buzz, I guess it has a bit of a different effect on different people but in general lines it kind of puts people on different situations and perspectives and the interactions you would hardly ever had sober make it fun. I don't think drinking alone would come anywhere near, so it's mostly the social effect.
