ok, so i got an itouch 4g, but the format mp4 isn't working, i downloaded an mp4 video from youtube using atube catcher, but the video won't load, what's wrong?

also, could it be the fact I downloaded it at 1080p?

Ipods don't have 4G. 

 I am assuming he means iphone.

O. The only ipod i have is a very old nano. 

Do you downloaded the video from your computer or from your iPod?

If it was from your computer, try playing the video on iTunes. If it doesn't work there are a couple of programs that will help you convert the video, I know some but those work on OSX. Try google ;)

I downloaded it from my PC, a youtube downloader program, and yes it played from itunes, and the format is mp4... so I'm not sure

Try to syncronize your ipod with iTunes, and select yes to sincronize in the videos option (i think you have to turn this option on, same for syncronizing photos, apps, etc), hope it helps!

Then, try draggin the video from itunes to your ipod while connected to your computer. If that doesn't work, try google for a converter program. I use iSquint, but that one is for OSX.
