I don't see why everyone is overjoyed; sure, NSMBDS was better, but 2D Mario's continued existence was guaranteed when it hit 10m, I don't know if Nintendo will continue to make awesome new IPs every generation on the other hand and Nintendogs being dethroned just reduces the chances of it happening, :O.

Agreed. Back at BW launch, I was hoping that it would overtake Nintendogs and become the leader of Nintendo handhelds as it should be, :O. Guess that's not happening...

Actually untrue: you can get all breeds in any version of the game. Owners of multiple versions are probably extremely rare, if they are statistically significant at all.

Seriously? o.O What's the point of having different dogs listed on different versions of the game then?

You start with those breeds right away. But you acquire all of them no matter which SKU you choose. Buying another SKU would be pointless.
