Forums - Gaming - Mass Effect 2 demo: PS3 vs. Xbox 360 (Digital Foundry)

Balls to that I say. ME2 is looking good on PS3, which means the lads at BioWare did a great job of porting the game. No lazy porting job with a badly flawed game in the technical department means they deserve congratulations for a job well done.

PS3 is the graphics powerhouse among consoles, as ably demonstrated by its suite of exclusives, which no 360 game has seriously threatened basically since MGS4 came out. Arguing over multiplat graphics is quite pathetic and serves no purpose, especially not for trying to demonstrate which machine does graphics the best. It's really time to move on. PS3 has taken the graphics award this generation. Let's see who takes things to the next level the best next gen.

If ME2 (360) beats out God of War 3 for best graphics GOTY awards, maybe the question is still open, but otherwise...

/all future multiplat graphcs comparison threads for the rest of the generation, unless it's to lambast a developer for being lazy and doing a crap job of porting a game.

Based on the comparasions, i think its clear the 360 version is better in terms of detail. however i think when you play the game, the difference will be invisible and irrelevant because of the distance you are from your tv.

I'm confident I should get ME2 on the 360 now so I can continue with my save from the first game, I can live without the extra content.

What extra content? The 360 owners can attain the content as well. They just dont get the comic.

Really? I thought there were a few exclusive missions or something, but I didn't read into it, so I could be wrong.
