I will agree with that, but your previous statement claims that all cannibis users are trash, idiots, losers that have nothing to give society. Drug abuse has been a part of mankind throughout history and many people did great things through both drugs. You should not make such absolute statements that suggest people who do drugs be they marijuana or alcohol contribute less to society because that can be easily proven wrong.

Positive and negative shit can occur with all drug use.  There has been a lot of positives and a lot of negatives.  But a lot of the negatives are caused because of other influences in their lives that caused the usage in the first place.  A lot of really good shit has happened because of Drugs.  Everybody listen to Bill Hicks.

Also, sorry to quote you Choco.  I'm not attacking your quote, I just read what I read on your quote and felt compelled to say something.  I felt a discussion going on and decided to give my peace.

And I know people that would get high to study and take tests and ace them.  Your anecdotal evidence is meaningless.

I would beg to differ one of the smartest guys I know studys physics and he is  is a huge pot head. If you expect a better arguement from a person that is under the influence that is foolish. Give these stoned dudes a chance to speak logically when sober and they could match a philosphy major as best as a non-philosphy major can

It's hard to prove that, less hard however to prove that people who use marijuana are less useful to society then they would be if they didn't.  Outisde a very few with usually mild conditions... much like Alchohol and Cigarettes.

It's largely nothing but a drag on potential usefulness, but things should not be judged on how much more or less likely they are going to make an individual to society, but instead of how they are going to effect the person's expierence of life... and even then, such a choice must only be made by that person.

Afterall, videogames are largely nothing but a drag on personal usefulness.  (some hand eye coordination and history teaching aside.)

When did I say they couldn't?  I was stating exactly what you said in Italics.  I was argueing against Whatever's statement that "weed makes you better at Physics."
