I think the PC version is beyond saving. The only way they could cure the ps3 version would be if they basically made a different game under the ff14 name xD

Unfortunately I am pretty much done with Square Enix.  They need a breath of fresh air "breathed" into the company.  I can't exactly say whats wrong with them other than they have made some piss poor decisions lately.  And are getting by on a devoted fan base who would by packaged shit if it were labled Final Fantasy Turds.  

I think a lot of people are losing faith in the company like I am and are moving away from them.  I would like to see what they can do with a Final Fantasy game thats done like a WRPG instead of a JRPG.  As long as they don't have a "pretty boy" for the main hero.

That's their main problem. They're trying to damn hard to appease the west and they're screwing it up. We don't like them for western style games. We like them for JAPANESE ones.

"WE" is not me.  

They are still a JRPG company and they may have added a few things along the way to try and "appease" the west, but that isn't their main problem.  Everything they have done so far has made things worse.  And to be honest they haven't really done a lot of appeasing.  The actual game play is what thats lacking the most, along with a piss poor story.   I would like to see them drop their entire battle system and go with something along the lines of Mass Effect.

The Final Fantasy series was probably my favorite series growing up.  And its unfortunate what it has turned into. Since I know that they will never do a battle system similar to ME, I would love to see what Hironobu Sakaguchi can do for with it over at MistWalker.  I am certain he could turn things around.  But we know that will never happen unfortunately.   I may even buy a Wii just to play The Last Story, that game looks pretty good.  And I would also dare say that Lost Odyssey is a much better game than anything with the name Final Fantasy has had on the cover in many years.
