You can back up saves now with the new patch. ergo duplicate cars till your heart's content.

have you confirmed this? if so, this is a crazy-ass update.

I've backed up my save (though I haven't tried to activate the back up to see if it works. but it should)

if you can back up your save, duplicating is easy.

Back up your save

have your main account send the car you want to dupe to a 2nd account.

delete your save from account A then reload the back up,

have account B send the car to A and you will now have 2 of the same car

Well, you can get a coloured dealership X2010 for free if you hit B-Spec level 35.

Also, if I ever did that, it would only be for either the Blue X2010 or Sebastian Vettel X2010.

The Stealth Carbon Fiber X2010 Protoype is kinda the simbolization of all the hard work of overcoming the challenge of golding Sebastian Vettel's X1 challenge, pretty much the hardest challenge in any GT game. Why would I want to duplicate it cheaply?.

For me! :D But I'm just messing, unless it's given to me free by PD themselves, I don't want it.

Damn, my joking detector is kinda broken thanks to the imense amount of threads in GTPLANET with people duping and transferring X2010 like they were candy >_>.

Seriously, the forums in that place is hell. First you get called a "kid" if you even mention that you finished the X2010 challenge and then the same people that called you that, are the first ones to go around asking for X2010 themselves.

I admit, I only got into Gran Turismo because someone gave me a copy of GT3 and a cheat device to get 999.999.999Cr and a few of the super cars to start off. Because of it I was able to get the super cars and make progress quite far in the game. But I always felt bad because I enjoyed the game immensely but because I didn't earn my wins, the experience was a bit hollow.

Ironically,  in GT4 I didn't get far because I started cleanly but didn't get anywhere at all because it was just too hard for me.

In GT5, things are a bit different because you can get awards for grinding which I intend to do (only reason I bought this game is because I see it as a game for life.) Though with that said, if PD decide to give me an X1 for christmas, I'll gladly accept it :D.

that's.... the stupidest update i've ever seen. well, i never share cars nor interact with others so..... i guess it won't affect me. but that's really stupid. why would PD allow car duplication? that's so insane.

strangely, there isn't much attention about this so-called exploit. i dunno, if this kind of thing was so widespread, i figure that everyone would be doing it. i've been searching the forums and can only find a handful of posts about it.

Here are some of mine.  I really like the photo mode, and will take more and more as time goes by.

Last one was done after a crash I did, on purpose, after going reverse on a Nascar race.  Was very frustrated that the other cars would make mine spin all the effin time. XD
