Crysis 2 is worth the rent at least. It is a far better shooter then Homefront.  Really, my only complaint is the AI is ridiculously dumb.  Story is solid, shooter gameplay is great, and the game environments are stunning (and colorful).

Agreed. Definitely worth at least renting it!

I'll take your advice before the Crysis tourney ends.  V is decent but I'm not going to enjoy it as much as Enslaved I don't think. 

yo_john117:  Just noticed your post on TA.  Left something there but I'm not really sure why Covert Action took me three tries.  I swear I didn't do anything different.  MINOR ME2 SPOILERS.  You only have to replay that first ten minutes at least.  If it doesn't pop right after you free her and before you open up on the guard in the corridor then you missed it.  Maybe try moving from cover to cover as much as possible, wait for conversations to end according to a post on gamefaq,  hug the right wall trying to bypass those last two in the room next to her and anytime I heard the music start to pick up I froze in place.  I didn't bother picking up any goodies on that run but I doubt that made a difference.  I just dont know sorry.  Good luck.

I would rather say this year as opposed to another thread because you people seem somewhat sane for the usual vgc crowd lol. 

Am I the only one that is LOVING homefront single player, finally a decent story and they try to make reasons as opposed to saying it just happened. My sister saw the trailer and she was like wtf? haha she thought it was real. Shows how realistic this thing could be

Worry not Recon, I owned a DS and a PSP at different times as well. Nothing will overtake my 360 love.  Of course now I'll be playing it thinking, "I wish this was in 3D" the whole time but other than that I have about 4 retail games to finish and I picked up 4 arcade games on sale yesterday.  So, I have stuff a plenty to do.

No Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 platinum? Surely it has 5 users. I now have more than 70% of the available gamerscore.

 edit: i see it added but no league points for it?

OK, so I guess it falls under this rule:

League points will be awarded for each platinum award gained.  7 League points are awarded to someone when: 
 
1) A game has just reached the required 5 gamers and has not ever been a platinum award

 

So if someone surpasses my MUA2 score, they'll get league points while I didn't for making it a platinum? Doesn't seem fair. I don't see why you shouldn't be able to earn league points for making a game platinum, even if it was previously a platinum. Especially since I never held the plat, so I never received league points for it in the past.

in the last 3 weeks we have seen top overall gamerscore league points for the week of 40, 39 & 31 points..........

The bar has well and truly been risen.

Fantastic competition this year, no one knows how each participent is going about making thier points for the week.

Suspense, drama............... BRILLIANT..!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't agree more Ron, really enjoying the league this year. Plus really enjoying mine and Neo's race to 100k though pretty sure he will pip me to it.
