Two Worlds 2 is not quite as good as I had hoped (take in mind i'm not too in the game though)
The game itself is rather glitchy (about as bad as fallout games) and the voice acting and animations are just abysmal (Mass Effect has spoiled me in that aspect) although I must say I'm not having much trouble learning how to do everything in the game, there is a pretty good learning curve and they seem to overcomplicate things more then they need to be but overall its not too bad.
The graphics are really good at some spots like character models but other spots are just plain horrible.
But if you can get past that, its a pretty good game
Customizing weapons and potions is awesome and the game looks like it would last well over 100 hours.
Overall I agree with the metacritic score its at right now...good but flawed (like a B movie)

Downloaded it and its hella awesome! Demo was short but all the different ways to kill enemies is just amazing....I'm gonna have to put down my pre-order for it next time i'm at gamestop.
Also downloaded the Crysis MP demo and it wasn't half bad....basically COD on crack with more health and everyone can use invise.
i really liked in the first two worlds how you could combine items together to make them better rather than just repairing them. that way i didnt have to leave a lot of loot on the ground or make long trips to a store to sell it...
something like that would make all that crappy raider armour actually useful in fallout

Superb score for NFS: Hot Pursuit PoundHound.
At times i really like this NFS game, but at other times the game is causing my 360 controller to deteriorate at a rapid rate due to me throwing it all over the place with frustration.
I love most racers (Ridge Racer, Forza, Blur, Split Second ect) but i dont think any racing game EVER has caused me this much chest pain through annoying unavoidable crashes or A.I. which is at times dumb and then the next minute seemingly unbeatable.
Well, i'm unlocking more cars little by little, maybe i can go back to some events and try beat some of my abysmal times.

Maybe when they finally take the training wheels off it'll open up and turn into something decent. I always worry about people buying stuff on my recommendation and having it suck. No worries about promoting DA2 and ESV though. There was an obvious fix for the item descriptions not fitting on the screen. Doh! |
Just finished the training and so far it looks like the only time they make you stay on the path was on that one mission in the beginning with the orcs.
My opinion of the game is slowly improving.
yo_john117: Yeah me too. I like that you're seriously underpowered and the option to set auto-save to 10 mins is a plus. Got the alchemy perk and a horse finally and feathered some Varn. Jackal-head Anubis wannabees. Wildlife is much more varied and detailed than TW. I electrocuted a rhinoceros. Not everyone can say that. Hope those baboons are throwing rocks! Just the three of us so far but JPL will be along shortly. Any Brits will be handicapped getting it on the 4th. Only two for Dead Space 2 is surprising but it's early.

It does kind of suck not being able to get it till the 4th but on the plus side the feed back i get from you guys over the next week will decide whether or not i decide if its worth a purchase. At the moment i'm still fifty fifty.

My early impressions are much more positive then the original. There is a more obvious story now, the frame rates are solid, and the contols aren't perfect, but are much improved. Graphically it is not Mass Effect but it is decent. I find the game improving as I keep progressing.
I like it more. Character development is exactly what i want in an rpg. Make the character you want, no restrictions, just do it. Much better than the first in lots of ways. Still not exactly Elder Scrolls material, but a solid title.
