Condolences Berstuck. I'm not going to be advancing it much and it could be a while before the usual suspects plus nikolai420 blow by me. The game is definitely worth waiting for.
I'm not sure about the online achs or that dlc. Any thoughts eN? Worth buying?

Grats to MightyMango for what must be a new weekly high for GS. 17k total at this point in the year is pretty amazing. If we had more owners of some of the 255 games he's completed the league and plat totals would look a lot different.

Recon, the dlc is short. Probably shorter than Zaeed and Kasumi's dlc from ME2, but I think cutscenes included are neat and important to ME narrative. Plus the squad mate and weapon you receive from the dlc is great. I would've beat it in

As I was saying: I would've beat it <30 minutes if not for a final battle against an Atlas mech alongside 10 other enemies lobbing smoke and frag grenades. It was brutal on Insanity as an adept with Liara and James.

^^ OK thanks for the warning. The new squadmate, wep and some Prothean lore sound good. It'll be a long while before they drop the price. Sooo....

Checked and I had 800 msp left after buying American Nightmare so that's that. They got me with day one dlc. I still feel good about the overall purchase and there are a lot of systems, missions I haven't done even once. Lots of reasons to replay. (Spoilers) Plus I let a friend of mine fall off a cliff. Feel kinda shitty about that.

Edit:  I'm trying Insanity as an adept as well.  There's not much of a penalty if you carry just a pistol and a sniper rifle so I can use the powers a lot. They're pretty well maxed out.   'I'm at lvl 55 so I'll be fine'*.

Thanks !! It was a new high for gamerscore weekly for me. I'm trying to get over 100K in a year which would be a first for me.
