I wouldn't be happy with them nerfing Pyro spells. The game was already too hard... let's make it harder! Yeah, not regretting trading it in.
I can't state enough I loved Dark Souls, but at the same time I don't think a game has to be cheap and sadistic to be challenging. I play games to have fun and relax. I like a challenge but not countless repeated beatings for the sake of the games amusement. Dark Souls was going to put me in the grave from a rage induced heart attack. I regret never at least beating it once but I think quitting was a positive thing.
At the same time Skyrim is too easy. I just beat Alduin in the final battle without taking one hit, in about 3 minutes flat and only used 2 mana potions. And yes I know you can cut up the difficulty in Skyrim but just like Oblivion I don't think it was the games fault it was that easy but my own fault for building such a powerful character. A full set of double enchanted dragon light armor with perks providing 100 percent more protection certainly didn't hurt. And my magica regenerates about 400 times faster than normal so it basically just fills back up in about 8 seconds when I'm fully drained. By the time I finished the story I had 100 light armor, 100 destruction, 100 enchanting, 100 smithing, 95 one handed, 90 conjuration and about 80 restoration. I'm still going to use that character to get the 15 artifacts and probably for the DLC.
I'm expecting the thief character I'm about to start will be much harder because I won't be using destruction magic or enchanting.
