Forums - Sony - Joystiq: Killzone 3 Move Controls Preview - 'Dead-On"

Didn't you guys get the memo? 3D TV is dead... well according to those who want Sony to fail at everything it does...not that there's anyone on VGC like that, noooooo.

Edit: OT, I'm no FPS fan, but I think it would be remiss of me not to get a FPS with Move functionality. I haven't decided on KZ3 at this point, if R3 has Move I might get that for my FPS Move experience, or something else. But KZ3 is a contender for sure.

If you want a great quick first 3d game, download Motorstorm Rift3D from PSN for $10. Sit 4feet from the tv and enjoy.

The official Vita thread http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=130023&page=1

That's a very nice preview of Move Killzone 3. I'm very interest on K3 because of Move and splitscreen coop and knowing the game works well with it and the online servers will be the same for all (Move vs DS3!! :D) also helped.

But there was an internal Sony leaked memo saying that Sony was failing at 3D TV. Now sonny I want you to stop worry about Sony and go see your honey.

It always makes me mad when people diss the PS3 in order to praise the PS3 at something else!!

Nice to hear. It is cool that for once, Sony is actually making exactly what everyone interested in move wanted, a great setup for FPS's.

Also I decided I needed to replace the TV that went out, so I will now be getting a XBR-HX909 this Wednesday. So I will be playing with Move in 3D.

Should be a nice setup.

Actually in my basement, there's a beauty patiently waiting for me to turn 40 in a few weeks : http://panasonic.net/avc/viera/eu2010/product/vt20_plasma.html

Hope I made a good choice

"So, after lots of playing on the Move, I decided to go back to using the standard controller. I have to say, it wasn't easy."

That's kinda what happened to me with the Wii. I got so used to playing with the wiimote that it's hard for me to play any kind of shooter with a standard control :/

Yup, me too. After you've customised the controls for an FPS game and found your sweet spot using dual analogs feels really clunky afterwards. Pointer controls are faster, smoother and more accurate than dual analog controls. I think you'll find a great deal of people adopting Move controls for Killzone 3 once people realise that dual analog users are getting pwned left, right and center by Move users.

I'm just hoping that Guerilla Games are going to have better customisation options than Zipper Interactive had with MAG. All they need to do is 'borrow' the customisation from The Conduit and they should be good to go.

I quite like playing MAG with Move but the customisation options available aren't adequate to make the controls as tight as they are on any Wii FPS game from The Conduit onwards, which is a shame.
