I totally agree with the OP.

I bought the game, played some single player and it was difficult and fun. I died and decided to give multiplayer a go. The guy playing Kolossus and immediately started spamming his power and killing himself.

We made it through the game easily but it was just beyond stupid.

Tales of Vesperia wasn't really that hard, you have to go out of your way to make it harder by doing the side quest to make the last boss impossible.

I will say games like DKC and NSMB are nice, because people do complain about how hard those games are.

Someone hasn't been playing on unknown mode . . .
