The Xbox LIVE enabled Windows Phone 7 was released just this past November and Microsoft is already offering promotional enticements to sweeten the pot in the form of your choice of one of four free Xbox 360 games.  It doesn't the European cell phone company that is offering a free Xbox 360 with the purchase of a Windows Phone 7 but it is still a decent offer for US cell phone users.

The phones eligible include the Samsung Focus, LG Quantum HTC Surround for AT&T and the HTC HD7 for T-Mobile.  There's also the Dell Venue Pro which is available for both AT&T and T-Mobile.  The phones can be purchased from the cell phone companies themselves, Amazon, the Microsoft Store or Walmart.  These phones are normally around $200 with a two-year contract.

The offer is good on purchases made between December 17, 2010 and December 31 for the following Xbox 360 titles.

@vetteman94 - why didn't you say sony giving away ps3s with the purchase of a tv is desperate?

3 years after it came out compared to 1 month, not really the same thing I would say.

Not to mention those PS3 deals are also in a collaboration effort with them and Best Buy.  Hence why you cant get the same deals at other stores

Windows 7 phones arent doing so well early on and interest is low in them as well,  throwing this promotion out there so early in its life cycle reeks of being desperate.  Not the same thing as the PS3 TV deal, as it came a few years after release and its a combo deal, buy a PS3 and a Sony TV and get alot of money taken off.  If you were to only buy a Sony TV you dont just get a PS3 free.

You're wrong though, because Windows Phone 7 sales are tanking and being a complete failure. It's already dead.

 A UK retailer said Android phones were outselling WP7 phones 15-to-1, and a single Symbian phone is outselling WP7 phones 3-to-1.

Microsoft isn't saying anything about WP7's sales, which is definitely not a good sign. And it's already over a month since it's release.
