With almost 4 million units sold Kinect has apparently took the industry by storm. I will be the first to admit selling 4 million of these at a robust 150 is very impressive. However, when you consider its impact on software sales Kinect has been a flop. By removing Kinect adventures from the system Kinect would have an attach rate of under 1. So it seems that while a ton of people are buying Kinects they just aren't buying the games. So what does that say for Microsoft's upcoming core lineup?
I am worried that games like Child of Eden and other core entries are going to flop leaving only stuff like Kinect sports (one of the few decent selling Kinect games) behind.
What are you thoughts/ predictions?
