The decision to award the world cup to Qatar is simply a disgrace. There is some argument for Russia, but ultimately the 2 worst bids won, and it is clear that money was the driving cause... which is disappointing to say the least, but the I am still just far less interested in international football than either the Premier League or Champions League, and de valuing the world cup like this is not going to help

I agree with you first part of the sentence. The second part is a part of the problem.  And btw there might be homosexual women as well.

Russia and Qatar is the perfect proof that it is possible to bribe the Fifa.

@Kowe, I can understand your anger, but try to see this from my point of view. I am German, so a worldcup is a very important tournament for us, because we actually have a shot to win this. You on the other hand are from the uk... So I should be the one pissed.

This isn't the kind of thing you'd want a gurantee on?  To hold a world wide event in a country where human right abuses are so great that the entire world can't enjoy it is ridiculious.

there's also the fucking joke about having the World Cup hosted across other countries (Bahrain, etc), even if there was OBVIOUSLY no word about it in the "bid".
