Any lifetime sales predictions ?

I'd say it has a shot at 5 million... but 4.5 looks likely.

My prediction has been 5 million for a while now and I'm sticking with it. It's amazing how much the franchise has grown with this iteration.

Nice. I  hope it does 5 million.... I still believe both GoW I & II deserved more.

God of War III will take the lead easily. It has some really decent legs atm.

This thread is forgetting about GOW collection on PS3 which is likely to go over 2 million this week worldwide.  I'm sure some people that owned GOW 1 and 2 may have bought GOW collection to replay on their PS3, but I'm assuming most people that bought GOW collection, like myself, never played GOW.

So if you should add 1.5 - 2 million to GOW 1 and 2 on PS2, then GOW 3 still has some catching up to do.  But I do agree that GOW 3 will get close to 5 million.

Thats horribly unfair cause its a re-release of the game.

God of War II on its standalone sales sold 3.5 million. The re-release also includes sales of people who already owned both games.

God of War III, without a re-release has achieved these sales considerably faster than GoW II did on PS2.

God of War Collection should be judged seperately.

Absolutely deserved! But it deserves so much more!

I think it will hit 5m someday, but it will definitely reach 4.5m sales.
