I just read all of the spoilers.  I couldn't help myself.  :(

I think some people are forgetting what Kratos is first and foremost, a Spartan. These were warriors trained since children and starved just to make them stronger. The way Kratos is, is completely understandable, they were machines who only trusted another Spartan, you don't become the most feared ancient army in the world by sniffing roses and nurturing bunnies. D:

I really liked him, its like in normal games I usually say: "Fuck, Id kill everyone and it would be more fun."or, "If I was there, Id kill them" but the main character has a sense of justice so he doesnt, a sense of justice thats just made for being a model to follow, but Kratos doesnt have anything like that, so I like him more.

Really, Its a good character when you like that agressive attitude and moments when you end up like "WTF!? this guy is crazy xD", but his back story doesnt make it look like free childish violence like something like happy tree friends. You end up understanding how pissed off he is, and the rage and violence he shows comes natural.

I sometimes feel some guys dislike him just cause he has muscles or he is strong, and prefer characters that look more otaku or something like that, just because they dont have the testosterone needed to understand how much a guy can be angry and violent without the need of looking stylish and cool. 

Well maybe Kratos isnt a greatly made character but at least he has a reason for being angry, and I cant think of many better made characters in videogames at least, where you mostly see sterotypes and guys with a sense of morality and justice that looks like an anime for 12 year olds, or marines which only motivation is to serve their country or silly cartoons which have no pretention of being called serious or deep(which is perfectly fine).
