I don't think people will buy the  psp2 just so they can play ps2 games on the go. It would need new inovative games of its own to sell. 

But the OP clearly states that if the psp2 didnt have its own games and just ps2 games he would get it just to play ps2 games. All I am pointing out is that he is in the large minority and that hardly anyone would pay $200 for a portable ps2.

considering PS2 games aren't available on PS3 I seriously doubt they will be on the PSP2...

Not really post-worthy. It's common practice to call doom on every psp2 related thread and thus ignore such a thing existed on the frontpage.

And so far those systems always end with bunch of amazing games a year or two later while others have to wonder where the hell all their exclusives went or why does the 3rd parties organized conspiracy to don't make any games for their platform.

I buy a system for new content. Not this.

If sony do that it will be dead like PSP, the problem of PSP and selling games on PSP is not piracy is people like u buy it not because of psp games but because of classic oldschool or other non-gaming features
