What line between humans and animals? We are animals.
I doubt many people actually like the concept, the taboo exists for a reason and it does feature many problems like abuse of power within the family, genetic issues etc. But denying the debate is just as bad, if something should be illegal then it isn't hard to show why. Pedophilia has been very easily shown by many here to be a terrible practice that should remain illegal. The same goes for murder etc.
The point of this debate is that in a secular society that has a number of religions and philosophical ideaologies that drive individuals within the societal framework. We must approach these subjects logically and directly and have the argument. Keeping a thing illegal because of a call to tradition is simply not valid enough in this age. If it should remain illegal then it shouldn't be that hard to show why and how its morally, scientifically, ethically, psychologically bankrupt etc.
