Woah, I thought the Yankees were going to nab him. That's an awesome starting rotation. Here's hoping they go all the way for Halladay next year (I'm a Blue Jays fan).

First the PS3 getting its ass kicked, then Giants vs eagles next, now this craziness. The Mets are done for so early.

Ugh don't like the Phillies.  Simply buy their talent just like the Yankees and Red Sox.  Nothing compared to the old Braves trifecta of Glavine, Maddux, and Smoltz.

I agree. The rich get richer and the MLB season is too long anyway. It's boring watching the same teams win every season.

i am shocked that he went there, all along thought it was done to the rangers or yankees

but ya the national league is done already

Lol Red Sox are trying to buy a championship?  Just remember we got AGon on a trade.  We didn't sign him.  And he wanted to come to Boston.  You can say we bought Crawford.  But hey, the Yankees bought Burnett, CC, and Tex in 09 and look.  Now they're doubting their chances.  Oh and not the same teams win every year.

2000- Yankees

2001- Arizona

2002- Angels

2003- Marlins

2004- Red Sox <3

2005- White Sox

2006- St. Louis

2007- Red Sox <33

2008- Phillies

2009- Yankees

2010- Giants

Doesn't seem to me like the same teams are winning every year.  I'm hearing most of these "the rich get richer" complaints from fans of sucky teams.  Oh and the poor can win too.  It only takes talent and teamwork.  Examples: Marlins, Texas, Rays, Diamondbacks, Twins, Cincinnati, Giants among others.  These teams won divisions/pennants/WS with talent.  Not money.
