Forums - Sales - Tron Evolution. Poor reviews will hurt sales. I'm mad!

hold the freaking phone here, not all movie based games suck, just most of them. Spider-man2, the Warriors, x-men origins: wolverine,  all good games with decent sales. as for Tron I played the game it wasnt all that, ironically enough I heard that the PSP version was the best of them all, i might check that one out

Happens.  The less powerful the system the quicker it is to make the game.  So sometimes the less powerful systems have more polished game play.

I've seen a video of the game and I thought it looked very fun.

I'll surely buy it down the road.

Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan  (for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.

FYI: I noticed some trepidation upthread about whether we'd continue to support TRON: Evolution with DLC. No need to worry - we've still got some killer downloadable content lined up. Check out the first trailer for the DLC right here:

Hello James_Tron.

What other games have you worked on? Perhaps Turok?

AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN GAME?!?!? Are you responsible for it's cancellation?! 'Cause it was my most anticipated game of 2011! :'(

If he is legit and from Propoganda then I'm really impressed to see such a great studio represented on VGChartz. But his post count is two and he's linking to YouTube. What happened to the other guy claiming to be from Disney Interactive, he seems to have dissapeared.

To be honest more developers interacting with us gamers on VGChartz would be very pleasent.

Hahaha, I promise I'm legit! Sorry for being MIA since posting; I got bogged down in travel over the last few weeks (lousy snowpocalypse).

TRON: Evolution's actually the first game I've worked on since I started with Disney Interactive (and for clarity, I work with the publisher, not the devs at Propaganda) last year. I definitely played my fair share of Turok though! As for POTC, I wish there was something I could share with you; sometimes promising-sounding games just don't happen. (Believe me, I'm on your side on this one; I'm still stinging from Propeller Arena getting canceled for the DC back in the day.)

We link to that YouTube account since it's Disney Interactive's page; it's where we debut the videos for TRON: Evolution (as well as the rest of our games). We've got some more content for TRON: Evolution coming up on there soon, so keep an eye on it!

Anyway - if y'all have any questions about TRON: Evolution for Disney, feel free to ask and I'll be happy to pass them along upstairs and try to get 'em answered for you. Thanks!

I've never played the game, but from the reviews, that game is far from great. I saw the movie and it was alright, but nothing special. I expected it to be epic and it just wasn't. Even the first movie wasn't epic, but for it's time it was great. I thought the story could have been better. I wished there were a few more characters and a deeper storyline. It just seemed like something was missing. Like there wasn't enough meat. Special Effect and music was incredible though. I'll still get it on Blu-Ray. Hopefully there will be a 3D version.

For James Tron:

I am not a big fan of the multiplayer.  What would really please me, is another single player campaign, full length.   But I know this is too much to wish for.  Anyway, I gave it a try.  Just to let you know that I would be buying it day one, full price, no questions asked.

Proud owner and supporter of the YAKUZA games!

Its probably reflective on the fact that most will view it simply as a tie in with the movie. I know the titles are different, but I dont know how closely related the games are. Same reason you wont get any dlc, I dont think any company will ever do that with a movie tie-in
