I just have a linguistics final on SATURDAY and then my pre-modern Japanese literature/culture final paper (on haiku, booyah) due on the 20th.

 I probably pull and average of 2 all nighters a week. One week I went over 80 hours without sleeping, which is more than three full days. Thank god I have ADD and am perscribed adderall, never could have done it without it. After the 80 hours of work, I got trashed and passed out at my buddies bar.

Ohio State is on the quarter system so I was done on the 6th. For the record it was one fun week with finals for radiation safety, nuclear reactor theory I, analysis of linear circuits, materials science for electrical engineers, assembly language, and linear algebra II. Also for the record I won't be doing a quarter like that again.

Hmm, I don't know why I think I can not paying attention for the entire quarter and suddenly learn everything in 4 hours right before the test but oddly enough, I do.

CURRENTLY AVOIDING:
Presentation about compiling for GPUs/Cells/other specialized processors
Paper about same
writing the back end of a compiler

Presentation about networking in parallel environments
Paper about same

Studying quarks, hadrons, leptons, etc.

both presentations and the physics test due tomorrow, both papers and the backend already late.

why are you taking assembly language? It is so useless at this point for the most part. When I took microprocessor Lab our professor made us code in assembly. After course I realized the microprocessors we used could be programed in C and he just wouldn't let us. I wanted to punch him in the face for wasting so much of our time.

It's a required class for OSU's electrical engineering program is the main (ok, only) reason.  It's actually microprocessor languages but most of the time was spent on assembly language before a couple weeks on C.  Yes it was a complete waste of time but if I punched the professor of every class that has been a complete waste of time thus far I would have fallen afoul of the three strikes law before finishing my first year of college.
