semi feel sorry for square enix here mass effect gets announced for multi plat everyones over the moon ff 13 gets announced multi plat the internet falls over versus get a couple of hints of multi plat people start boycotting the game there pressured way more than any other 3rd party comapany for exclusivity

Theres no reason to feel sorry for Square Enix. Sony fanboys wanted FF13 to stay PS3 exclusive to get the maximum output from the installment. Square Enix made promises and did not follow through in quality nor expectation. Versus is probably the last hope this gen of getting a true FF playstation exclusive that will take full advantage of the PS3's power. i can see their issue, but they needed to calm down and thankfully they did. Mass Effect is a different story. It was a 360/PC exclusive which means anyone with a PC and no 360 could get their hands on it. Microsoft kills everything for themselves because when they have a hit they barely keep it to themselves. They have one or two hits that has the combined sales of two to three major titles, but then you've got Sony selling a laundry list of titles that sell millions steadily it hurts. Adding Mass Effect to their fleet of 2011 games is going to be horrible for the 360 next year even though they already have the game and it sold more. Mass Effect has business savy, but have no gamimg savy. If they showed an ounce of it from the beginning, they surely lost it.

i dont think you understand what i mean. basically if i was square enix and i would be pissed of. they would see this and thiink everyone is pressuring us to limit our game to a smaller userbase but theres no pressure on other comapnies to limit there seling userbase

and I think they defineltly delivered on quality the game was the best this gen and the cutscene graphics are unbeaten

Final Fantasy has been surpassed. Those graphics are nowhere near the top games. Nice though.

Thats cool even though I prefer my ps3 I still will go with the 360 version so it remembers my actions from the first two games.

I will do the same. It will just feel different if I ever play it on PS3 just like when I played it on my gaming PC...

The feelings is similar to watching Avatar 3d on theater then watching it on 60" tv blu ray.

HAHA, so your saying a PC is like an Imax experience and the PS3 is like an giant HD TV. That's grand!!!   People come to associate things with certain brands even if it was never exclusive to that brand.

Is Mass Effect 2 releasing budget price on PS3?   Bioshock did after its late port and I will not buy it if it is a full priced game, will wait for bargain bin instead.

I think it's supposed to include all of the DLC released up to now, so it'll be MORE than worth full price.

Yup.  It's the original title plus the DLC plus the interactive comic - whatever than exactly turns out to be - that replaces ME1.  Seems worth full price to me.

Really, if you only have a PS3 then the fact is was already on 360 should be irrelivent to price - this is the first time its out for that platform and in a really competitive package (thanks to the included DLC).  I'm sure if MGS4 or whatever was to hit the 360 it would release full price, too.

Seems fair enough to me.  After all, now (or rather once come January) the franchise is on PS3, the next one will be day/date on all platforms.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I hope that they keep the space style atmosphere for Mass Effect 3. It takes place on Earth. The thing that makes Mass Effect Mass Effect is the space/new planets/aliens/etc...

If it is all set on just Earth then I am going to be disappointed.

Just as long as Bioware spends as much did as they have in the past on the x360 and pc versions I'm fine with this. And hopfully it won't get delayed because of this.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Commendable! I'll be getting it on the PC.

Love my PS3 but I am with you here all the way.

I'm going with 1.33m LTD expectations for PS3.  Oblivion seems like it was in the exact same situation with a year old port and the PS3 was able to sell .58 of what the 360 did which would put ME2 at 1.33m if it sold similarly.

Oblivion was released during the ps3's 2007 drought. It sold well for similar reason's MotorStorm sold so incredibly well:  there was nothing else to buy.

A better comparison would be Bioshock, which only sold 750k on PS3 vs 2.62 million on 360.

Of course, releasing Mass Effect 2 on ps3 is intended primarily to prepare for a proper release of Mass Effect 3. Bioshock 2 sold much better on ps3 relative to the 360 version compared to the first, and I expect the same for the next Mass Effect.
