Oh yeah!, that will gurantee both versions of PC and PS3 being bought by me

no way in hell is my next pc going to be powerful enough to play skyrim. im making it barely capable of playing starcraft 2 on the lowest settings!

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

Am I excited? Lets just say I've had an erection since saturday.

I'm a massive Elder Scrolls fanboy so this is sweet! And being someone who is well versed in oblivion, I can say the only problem was that god damn leveling shit

They need to let me FEEL like a badass (because god knows I can't get that fix in real life!) After 100 hrs of play in Oblivion, I started to get aggrivated with STILL having trouble killing the same fucking troll!!! I had umber sword, full daedric armor, massive strenght and magic abilities and the sewer rats are still whooping my ass?! Something ain't right...

Oh yeah, and please let me have a pet dragon... I want that hard, harder than my erection! ^_^

P.S.

Oh yeah, and no timed xbox exclusive bullshit bethesda I mean srsly. Get off Microsoft's dick

dunno if you're still talking about it, but GameBryo is not simply a game engine to which they add content, just because they're calling it a "brand new engine" it doesn't mean they're dropping GameBryo. and the bugs in their games may be caused by sloppy programming and not by GameBryo itself. even with UnrealEngine you have games that use the engine correctly and others, like The Last Remnant for example, which are an absolute mess.

you can also obviosuly reuse stuff that is working even with a "brand new engine", I don't really see them switching the whole engine.

Hmm, your analysis makes great sence and I believe it's close to the truth.

But how does this Bethesda quote fit with what you just said:
"It's an all new graphics and gameplay engine internal to BGS, and it looks incredible" ?

it doesn't hahah

I didn't know about that quote haha, but still my point about GameBryo remains, because it's used in other genres too.

it's perfectly possible (and I believe that's the case) that GameBryo has a lot of limitations that they don't want to deal with anymore, but I don't really believe "GameBryo is broken".

but if they're getting a new one all internally, it must be damn good or else they wouldn't do it!

Couldn't it be that their "all new engine internal to Bethesda" still is partly/greatly based on Gamebryo?

Because I strongly doubt Bethesda made their own engine from ground up.

Is it 11-11-11 already?

No?

Man, its taking a long time.

Show us some gameplay already.

PS - That is the first teaser trailer I truly enjoy. Max Von Sydow's narration, the moving images on the wall, the music..... CANT WAIT!!!

you have to wait 20 days to see the game, next gameinformer will bring the news

Great. Cant wait. Though I imagine there wont be gameplay videos with it.

A MMO would be a good idea, I wonder if they are thinking of doing that in the future? So they covered all of it in one game but did not cover single area's like they are doing now?

So they have 6 area's to  cover accept the islands. Rock on, I enjoy hearing that we will have a lot more to come. Thanks for the info.

i hope they put an epic city in skyrim

I  looked it up and in daggerfall they go into the hammerfell and High Rock area.  So they only have 4 more areas to do :(
But on the up side maybe there will be more continents on the world, they could go with that angle. Only one continent of magic and now a whole world of possibilities.

Don't forget, in Morrowind they barely covered the mainland, so that's still a possibility. They can also go into the Daedric realms like in Shivering Isles so their are a whole host of possibilities.

I remember reading an interview once where they joked about setting a game on one of the three moons :P

The moons would be cool. You could make it like titan or europa. Maybe making some people able to handle the conditions and some not with other pluses added.  That would be a nice spin on the whole physics of the game.

Wow VGCHARTZ today seems to be running really SLLOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!

well, I believe it could. the "internal" thing could be a bit of "damage control", after all there are a lot of comments about "GameBryo sucking" and maybe they wanted to ease things a bit?

I think they may talk more about until the game launches, so we will see. a full engine from the ground-up for a massive game does seem too much work these days, especially with GameBryo and UnrealEngine available (although UE would suck in a free roaming game like this).
