No, I wouldn't consider Perfect Dark on Xbox Live a port. While it has improved graphics, its built from the code of the original game.

So as a gamer, I prefer the PS3.  Mass Effect 3 is assumingly coming to the PS3.  Uncharted 3 is coming to the PS3.  What's so upsetting about that?

Hmm, it says "it's still worth watching for non PS3 owners". So it could be a multiplatform, Wii exclusive (unlikely), 360 exclusive or PC exclusive (also unlikely) announcement.

My guess: GTA V

Just going by the letter of the law if it's an Xbox 360 or Wii exclusive, it would have been nice for it to have been read as, "it's still worth watching for Xbox 360/Wii owners."  Eh, you never know.

Well, it says "bigger than Uncharted 3", so the only thing I could imagine MS to announce that would be bigger (considering hype) is either Gears 3 (which won't be shown and is already announced anyway) or a new Halo. And Nintendo normally doesn't show anything at VGAs as far as I know. A multiplatfrom game seems most likely to me.

That's not a remake, that's a port. Higher Resolution does not make it an HD remake. Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and Resident Evil for GameCube, now those are what you call remakes.

People who want a Halo C.E remake want a full on remake using the Halo Reach engine or an updated one. New textures, everything.
