Game feature (?) vs. game announcements. Gears is big, but it's not Halo/COD.

But do you honestly think that a Kinect Gears will handedly outsell them?  It's similar to how I would call Halo Wars a smaller announcement than a new Uncharted, because an offshoot of a big series doesn't have the same hype as a main iteration in a medium series.

that's assuming that the Gears announcement was Kinect related which is what I was lead to believe.

Well the only thing interesting thing I think they could announce about the game is moving the release date to an earlier time in 2011. I mean gears is gears we all know it will be good so they couldn't have shown much.

How would the hardcore gamers react to a Kinect Gears announcement at VGAs?  Especially if it was presented after ME3 or U3.

I would assume a lot of people would be disappointed.

Maybe because Gears 3 is current lacking more than Microsoft would like to be known when compared to both U3 and ME3.

Why should we expect Microsoft to make announcements Rod? All we got last year was a Crackdown 2 trailer and the Halo: Reach intro which we knew about well ahead of time. We will see absolutely nothing from Microsoft because they seem to think E3 is the only time of the year to make any announcements. That's my prediction.

Gears is bigger than uncharted and ME, so no it won't be overshadowed LOL. and .. I'm willing to bet it goes in Gears favour even more in terms of who is watching the VGA's.
