You should really learn how to GOOGLE. But once again I will say it again It's not selling bad I just thought it would do better I'm not bashing it. I guess my expectations where just too high I was expecting Halo Reach to do at least 200,000 a week during the month of december.

To be fair, this year the 360 has extensive bundles, Reach, Slim Revision and Kinect on top of some solid and anticipated titles (Black Ops, Fable 3 etc). If it didn't manage to outsell the PS3 this holiday season, it would be amazing indeed. Given all the above factors, I'm not at all surprised that the 360 is the dominant HD console worldwide and I hardly think anyone expected one game, even a Gran Turismo, to propel the PS3 above the 360.

Well, up until Kinect, PS3 was destroying 360 and even now it's destroying it in EMEAA. Till Kinect, (after the massive Move adjustments 'cause of Nintendo's charts), everybody here seemed to think that PS3 had #2 (if not #1) covered for the holidays, especially since GT5 was still on the way. So, whilst its chances may have been low, quite a few people expected PS3 to continue its dominance over 360.

I guess that is true, a lot of people have a rather strange way of overestimating their console (everyone does it now and then). The 360's grip on the Americas market is incredible but it appears that the PS3 will be able to stay ahead worldwide after the holidays when numbers normalise and it is leading in two out of three regions (or it should be basically dead even).

The 360's growth in the Americas is a lot more amazing than anything the other two consoles did imo, even beating the PS3's comeback and the Wii's incredible 2009 December. Over 90% up YOY?! Crazy!
