I loove the art style (similar to Mirror's Edge) and the concept! Totally looking forward to this!

Is there some type of developer contest going around to come up with the worst possible name for an FPS incorporating the prefix "war-"?

Current Contenders:

WarFace

WarSoup

Looks pretty sweet. I also like the art. It sort of reminds me of Halo (in geometry) but looks a lot smoother (the curves). I also agree on the minimalistic and vibrant colors of Mirrors Edge.

Add WarDevil to the list! lol

this is in no way the first RTS/FPS there have been several others

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

i dont get it : mineral/gold ==> killing red cube ?

where are the enemies player ? I didnt see him

is there any "unit to build" to help you outside turrel ?

weird IMO ...

I can dig this.

so what is the gold/mineral equivalent ? control point ?

also, Mount and Blade can be seen as an medieval "RTS FPS" game
(the RTS part being a bit similar to the total war serie)

Bah I thought that's what they said in the video :/

I forgot to comment on that. It's true. Raven Squad came out a while back and I believe it did RTS/FPS. I also know that Homefront is employing a similar system of "in-match currency" that can be used to spawn weapons and vehicles at will.

But Raven Squad is so bad that it's not even considered a game! ~is trying to find an excuse~

I can see they're taking alot from Halo. The rifle looks very similar to the Assault Rifle  and the First person view sprint animation is pretty much exactly the same. The planet in the background images looks like a iced over Reach.

Looks interesting but what are the enemies? Killer cubes that don't move?
