Forums - General - Anonymous Supports Wikileaks as Assange is Arrested

We should all stand up for democracy and support WikiLeaks. Julian Assange has our full support. Assange is a political prisoner. Assange stands for open free democracy.

Iraq and Afghanistan Wars were fought on false pretences and the general public were lied to by corrupt government officials.

Assange has the right to leak the dirt on government officials.

Tin pot Communist style dictators do not want free open democracy. Government officials do not want to be held account or questioned. They like to operate behind closed doors and make decisions that impact all our lives without us knowing anything about the evidence/facts they were presented.

Assange is doing a good job on exposing the dirt on corrupt government officials. He has plenty of supports/followers who are doing work for WikiLeaks and exposing the dirt on corrupt officials who operate behind closed doors.

Excuse my ignorance, but I don't even know where to start with this wikileaks chaos ... could someone sum it up for my briefly?

It baffles me how people don't consider WikiLeaks a terrorist organisation. Cyber Terrorism is still terrorism and attacking web providers and banks because WikiLeaks broke their codes of conduct. Its insaine PayPal and the various groups have every right to deny Wikileaks service. Its in the user agreements. If you violate company policies and if they deem your service to violate their policies then they have every right to drop your service.

Its freedom of expression. Wikileaks is attacking people because they are expressing their dissaproval. This is horrible I hope that our countries unify and arrest each and every terrorist where they stand. Wikileaks is right this is turning into a war, an insurgency in which terrorists are trying to topple our governments and any organisation that decides they are against Wikileaks.

The only difference between Al-Qaida and Wikileaks is Wikileaks is blowing up virtual buildings while Al-Qaida blows up physical buildings. Instead of killing people directly Wikileaks releases information to have people killed indirectly (like leaking Afghan informants and other innocent people knowing full well they could be killed).

Wikileaks terrorists should be hunted down every where they are and charged with cyber terrorism. Each of them deserve to be put behind bars for at least ten years. These attacks should not go un-punished!

Guy got ahold of a lot of secret US documents and leaked a lot of stuff that needed to be leaked.

He also leaked a lot of stuff that didn't need to be leaked and basically were the equivlent of benign inter office emails where you talk shit about coworkers.

He's also been accused of rape, and people are calling conspiracy theory without the least bit of proof and pretending he's just being accused of not using a condom for sex when one of the charges states

"Assange is accused of using his body weight to hold her down in a sexual manner."

He's complaining it's all a political ploy to entrap him, even though the endgame of this only benefits wikileaks no matter the outcome.

Assange is a political prisoner and  he is a victim of corrupt government officials making up false allegations against him. Making up sexual misconduct allegations against him is the oldest trick in the book. Too bad there is no evidence/proof to make the charges stick. The case sounds like a witch hunt.

You're just numonex under an alt aren't you?

I mean, your claiming a conspiracy theory without any actual proof...

and also claiming the case has no merit... when you don't have any access to what proof the case may or may not have.

Do you have any proof/evidence to back up your claims?

Let's look at all the evidence and facts before we jump to any conclusions. The man deserves to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Most sexual assault cases get thrown out or never proven in a court of law.

It was consent and it some how turned into non consent. I am confused: it is either rape or it is not rape.

Sound like a very convenient case for the government officials to use against a political opponent.

Go ahead and jump on the political media witch hunt band wagon and condemn a man who may well be proven innocent of all charges.

You do realize that you started off that post by saying "someone derserves to be presumed innocent until proven guilty"

and then spend the rest of your post is assuming a shitload of people are guilty of a crime without the slightest shred of evidence right?

Also, yes, he probably will be found not guilty.  The conviction rate for rape in Sweden is 8%.  Which makes you wonder why they'd pick a crime that nobody is ever found guilty for.  Rape, even in cases where people know for a 100% the person is guilty... hardly ever get a conviction.

If this was a government conspiracy they would of just hacked a bunch of child porn on his computer and then arrested him for that.  Nobody protected pedophiles... pretty much everybody is on the side of accused rapists... famous or not.

Well the 4Chan should be arrested. But Wikileaks pretty much murdered dozens to hundreds of people by leaking lists of informants and other individuals. I'd call that a terrorist attack and damaging countries political infastructure is also terrorist. I see no difference in what Wikileaks is doing and what the Tamil Tigers were doing or even Palestinian freedome fighters. They claim its a war over freedom's and injustice yet everyone they hurt for the most part are innocent civilians which they are controlling or trying to control with fear.

I hope Assange and every single man at Wikileaks or 4Chan or any other organisation carrying out cyber terror attacks is arrested and thrown in jail.
