A game that's very much like Afrika (and was apparently developed years ago) is being ported to the Wii. I really hope it's good! I will be getting both games now :)

I was looking at this, the first thing I thought was Pokemon, I'm not sure which game but I believe it was for N64 probably Stadium.

Anyways, it looks pretty cool.

 pokemon snap

and wasn't Afrika one of the games that were set to begin PS3 domination?

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is the game aspect of Africa? I have seen beautiful trailers of drinking animals but nothing gameplay like

I think the PS3 version will be better, simply because this is the sort of game that could really benefit from improved graphics (like Gran Turismo racing sims). Still, it's great to have a choice.

You take photos of them. Presumably, it's very much like Endless Ocean, a game already released on the Wii. Take photos, catalog them, make a collection.

Not my cup of tea but always good to see a wider game selection.

Meh...

Photography games go far beyond the level of a simple "meh."  They deserve an ultra "meh."

i've been to africa on safari (ngoragora crater) and even in real life it bored me

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

Making pictures of animals.....hmm I live next a zoo why should I want this in a game...

If this cost like 40$ then it is way to much for me =/.
