Voucher code or not, it's bundled along side Forza and counts as a sale.

What part "VGC doesn't track downloaded sales" don't you undestand?

And how do you know if the user will use the voucher? Maybe he doesn't want or already have the game.

Couldn't the same be said for Forza?

No because Forza 3 is a disc media (physical) in the bundle.

Alan Wake is like GT5:P... only disc sales is tracked.

AFAIK VGChartz tracks retail sales, it doesn't matter if it's a disc or a voucher, if it's sold at retail, it should count.

Its just estimations.

Of course they are off, but its funny that always the ps3 and ps3 games are undertracked.

no, it's just the ps3 fans (overwhelming majority here) are the ones always complaining the most.

there's probably lots of 360 bundles/software with similar discrepancy as the ps3 ones in the op, but bottom line, most people dont care about 360 here so those will not be brought to light or even thought about. but yet there will be legions watching in the wings for any possible lowballing of ps3 sales.

Did anybody check if 360 software matched with chain bundles sales? Or just there were no 360 bundles or games  on sale black friday (yeah right)? I dont think anybody cared so it will not be checked like Ps3 was. That is the normal way of things.

Pretty much.  I already pointed out the insane Mario Party DS discrepancy in a couple threads (it probably sold more than UC2, LBP, MNR and GOW3 combined, yet VGC had it at 54k) as well as some other Wii/DS games that were bundled (at retailer level, like all these PS3 games) and assurredly undertracked.

There's no inherent bias uniquely against PS3 or PS3 software in VGC's methods or multipliers.  There's just a large vocal PS3 fanbase that bitches about it as every possible opportunity.
