Mostly a lack of stuff to do and a crippling lack of job opportunity, even in the minimum wage sector (though the fact that i keep going back to college and losing the jobs i get doesn't help)

The inconsistent weather here. Oh, and snow.
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
The government is way too big in New Hampshire. Sure, it is likely one of the smallest governments in North America and smaller than all of the governments in Europe except for maybe a few of the Swiss cantons but it is still way to big here. Property taxes need to be lower. Biz regulations and taxes need to be reduced. Pay for government workers needs to be reduced. People should be able to smoke in bars. Pot, codeine, mushrooms and steroids should be legal. The drinking age should be nothing if done under parental supervison and 18 if done away from parents. All of the speed limits should go up 5 to 10 miles per hours. The state cops shouldn't be allowed to have tasers.
Tired of big government?

So were do you live ? Just want to know so I know which place never to visit. Shitting on streets, wanking of in public, witnessing regular break-ins. I would definetly leave that place.

The innercity? In this case in particular, the San Fransico inner city I believe... but that kind of stuff happens in basically... every city known to man in certain areas.

Why do you keep losing your jobs?

It's not enough they walk into work to ruin my day, but they're standing in front of you in line at the grocery stores spewing their nonsense to people who don't give a rat's ass about them or what they're saying. I lost count of how many times I saw a drunk sluggishly trying to cross a street early in the morning on my way to school. The lucky ones are passed out in the doorways of closed corner shops/bars. It was either last year or the year before that Cleveland was rated the second most drunk city in the states. |
Haha, yeah...
I remember never driving between 2-3 am, because that's when all the drunk drivers would be out and you'd have to deal with things like people turning down the wrong way on a one way street.
Still, I live in Las Vegas now... the trafic is actually WORSE.

College is a clean 300 miles from home, so i can't very well keep them. Most of my jobs have been rather marginal anyway

Sounds rough. Does that mean you commute to college but your jobs are around home? Sorry to pry. It's just interesting getting to know the VGChartz members a little better I think. I worked my way through college instead of relying on student loans. It was tough, but worth it in the end.
