Little Big Planet, for the ''Play.Create.Share'' genre

I came here specifically to troll LBP, but you beat me to it =)

@OP Minecraft, hopefully... I know it won't, but still addicting for that amount of money. But realistic scenario is Wii Sports and Wii Fit, these two will be associated with this gen closely.

chibi - So? They could've bought MP separately. Besides, I doubt that every other game that uses motion plus combined has sold as much as WSR. So I doubt they bought WSR for an added bonus with the controller. It was the only really good game to use the controller for. The MP was an added bonus, not the game.

Also, I never claimed that you were wrong. I just said that everyone claims that they have amazing real life talents, making your claim very hard to believe. Oh, and there's nothing telling me that you're not some 11 year old pretending to be really old on a random website, :P. Every single 11 year old I know would do that.

Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan  (for hardware sales) Forfeit is control over others avatar for 1 week.

Okay, whatever, so it may be. You can't verify that and I can't disprove it, but it's besides the point and off-topic so let's just quit that point.

Half Life.

I play PC and PS3. The best of both worlds.

Wii Sports because everyone in the world has played it and it changed the industry (motion)

Wii Fit because it created it's own genre

Nintendogs / Brain Age (portables) - For expanding the market and being huge sellers

CoD:(MW - BO) - will be this generations Goldeneye / Halo

Everything else will be remembered by gamers but not the world at large

For my own part, there are extremely few games today that will be worth remembering in 20 years or so. I just can't seem to identify any classics this generation.

Super Mario Bros., heck its still celebrated 25 years later, whats another 20

I can't really see too many becoming all time classics. Like CoD4 is amazing and the best shooter this gen (on consoles) but just 3 years later and its graphics are becoming quickly out-dated...I'd hate to see it in 10...even 5 more years.

Mass Effect series.  THE definitive series of this gen.

Wii Sports series.  THE motion game revolution.

Kinect may spawn some, but we'll have to wait and see.  They have a lot to live up to before I even THINK of its software as being classic.
