It's just that I've seen so many times now people going bananas over VGChartz numbers not being exactly like MC. Last week MC had PS3 above Wii while VGChartz switched them for the weekly report, and some people started questioning the VGC data. There are two other trackers out there that I do know of, though I honestly have no idea which one is the more reliable.

They're all reliable and all within the same general ballpark (except on rare occasions).

Though it's funny, I noticed that while last week's Japan was basically overrun with the usual suspects crying foul for VGC having Wii over PS3 slightly (while MC showed the reverse), there wasn't a peep from 'em when I came in with the Dengeki numbers, which also showed Wii slightly beating out PS3.  Funny that. ;)

As for this week's sales, GT5 did acceptably (not a bomb, but not great). SRWL and Mario Sports did "just okay" too, Danganronpa and (especially) Zill O'll bombed though.  The latter will probably end up Omega Force's worst selling game this entire gen. :/

Other than that,, it looks like Nintendo's games are getting a decent pre-Holiday lift (Wii Party, Mario All-Stars, Kirby, Pokemon BW, etc).  I bet we'll see the usual suspects rising outside the top 20 as well (Wii Sports, Fit Plus, Tomodachi Collection, Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Karts, NSMBs, etc)

Hardware wise, PS3's GT5 lift echoed that game's performance (okay, not awful, not great), PSP's getting a great pre-MHP3 bump (next week it's going to be HUGE, like 200k plus), Wii's getting a strong pre-holiday lift (though still down from last year), DS doing kinda the same, and 360 gets no sustained lift from Kinect.
